About us

We are Susanne and Uwe Seppmann. Both of us graduated from the Malche Bible School in Germany. Uwe has worked with handicapped children in Israel and with hospitalized children in Germany. Soon after the fall of the GDR (formerly communist East Germany), we felt led by God to leave western Germany where Uwe worked as a pastor and to move to Mecklenburg. Today we live with our children in Beth-Emmaus, where Uwe also serves as the pastor for the church in Witzin. This local Lutheran church serves 10 small villages in the area.

The nation of Israel and Jewish traditions are especially important
to us, because the roots of our
Christian faith lie in Judaism. Special
seminars and programs about Judaism are available on request. Guests of Beth-Emmaus also have the opportunity to participate in commonly practiced Jewish traditions.
